You are sure to find loads of inspiration throughout the week for your own Spring decorating! If you are popping over from Stacy’s blog, Brick’s n Blooms, Welcome! I’m so excited that you’re here! I’m sharing some easy Spring Decor Ideas with you today that you can implement quickly and on a budget!
To be honest, my #1 Spring Decor styling tip is “Throw Some Flowers On It.” Seriously. When we think of Spring outdoors, we think of birds chirping, bunnies hopping, but even more so, all the flowers blooming! The easiest way to bring the Spring outside in, is to add florals. Real or faux is up to you – they will have the same effect! But I’ve got several other tips up my sleeve for you that I’ll be sharing throughout this post, as well!

Spring Decor Ideas For Inside Your Home
Want to see all the places I “threw some flowers”? Well let’s get the tour started, shall we?!
First, I added some beautiful budding blooms to a simple black vase. It’s a simple look, but that was necessary with this bolder and a bit more busy gallery wall. I chose a gallery wall of several beautiful Spring landscapes to really emphasize the season. And the fun pop of color in the quilt (which has been passed down through my family) adds and even more fun Spring vibe.
The main idea here is you do not need to go crazy buying all new spring decor. Shop your home (I had all of these items on hand already), go cut a few sprigs of budding florals from your yard, or grab a few at the grocery store next time you’re out! For me, Spring is also about adding beautiful but soft pops of color, which really mimics the blooming flowers outside. This quilt is exactly that!
The kitchen is one place I also love to bring in fresh florals. And no, I don’t leave them in the sink, but it makes for a pretty photo don’t ya think? The kitchen is where I do all of my floral styling (whether real or faux), so I always have to snap a sink photo while I’m at it. These bright orange tulips perfectly compliment all of my copper accents in the kitchen, and they last a long time, too. And on the other hand, hydrangeas are a FABULOUS choice if you are looking for a lot of bang for your buck. I get all of my fresh hydrangeas at Trader Joes. For $5.99 for a bundle of 3, you can make a full arrangement for very little money because the blooms are so full and take up loads of space! Winning!
Here is how the hydrangea arrangements ended up looking post-sink shot. I added in some eucalyptus ($2.99 for a bundle at Trader Joes), and some filler flowers (usually $1.99) and that’s about it! They add a beautiful touch to our kitchen peninsula, without having to change up much else. Easy? Yup! Affordable? Double yup!
While I love some fresh flowers throughout Spring and Summer, I’m also a huge fan of investing in beautiful faux florals you can use year after year. These white and orange florals I’ve had for several years now, and the blue berries I picked up last year on sale at Hobby Lobby. Through in some real eucalyptus, and I bet you won’t even know the flowers are fake anymore! In fact, my top tip for helping faux flowers look real is just that – add real eucalyptus! It dress beautifully, and your arrangement will last 6-8 weeks without you having to change it!
I also brought in some faux florals on our mantel this year. These roses come as a pack of FIFTY on Amazon for $21! I wired them all together using some floral wire I had on hand, added a few pops of color with some other fake flowers (also from Amazon), draped them onto my moody art print, and voila! I’m such a big fan of this idea and I’ll be doing something similar to the mirrors in our home as well. Can you imagine how fun this would look in Summer with some sunflowers?!
You may also remember our recent bedroom refresh! Here the pops of color add a fun and happy Spring touch. I also added the dried hydrangeas on my nightstand (another great alternative to real or faux florals – dried florals are still real but last WAY longer!) The floral print and grapevine eucalyptus wreath are two more examples of how I bring the outside in here. I’m tellin’ ya – natural elements (or photos of them) are what make a house a home if you ask me!
And finally, our little nook upstairs! I didn’t do much up here other than add in some vintage floral paintings. Our big Fiddle Leaf Fig tree sasy “Spring!” all on his own!
Spring Decor Ideas for your Outdoor Space
Spring decorating outside is pretty easy, as Mother Nature does a lot of the work for us! But we always like to do a bit of Spring sprucing outdoors, to make the space ready to be enjoyed for the warmer months ahead.
Each year we replant our wine barrels with some colorful blooms, and I add a fun pop of color to the outdoor table centerpiece. These wine barrel market light posts were one of our first DIYs when we moved into our home 4 years ago, and they are still one of my favorites! In fact, our market lights have lasted the entire time – through all weather and all seasons! It’s kind of amazing!
Adding market lights to your outdoor space is a wonderful way to add ambience, and will encourage you to spend time outdoors all Spring and Summer long. I add these fun lanterns each Spring as well, and they always last 3-4 months (even if it rains), and it just adds that extra special touch for the warmer months spent in the backyard!
Also take a bit of time to sweep, clean and tidy up your outdoor space, so you can really enjoy it. Plant a few colorful flowers to enjoy, pull out the grill, and soak up time in the great outdoors. Whether you have a small apartment balcony, or a sprawling farm to enjoy, Mother Nature always comes through with beauty each Spring. It’s decor we get to enjoy, free of charge!
